Sunday morning is our main service which begins at 9:00am and usually concludes at 10:15 am. Our Sunday morning service is comprised of worshiping God through congregational singing, and the reading and preaching of the Bible.

Sometimes we preach through books of the Bible. Sometimes we look for bigger themes in the Bible that are important for our understanding of God’s Word as a whole. Other times we will look at topics like marriage, parenting, pain, joy, or seasons of life.No matter the format of preaching everything will include the direct teaching and application of Scripture. That is, how we should read the Bible and how we should live everyday because of the Good NewS about what Jesus has done on our behalf.

We provide a Creche (babies – 3 year old), Junior Sunday School class (age 3 – grade 1), and a Senior Sunday School class (grade 2 – 6) during the morning service. This is a time for children to understand the truths of Scripture at their appropriate age level.

Individuals and families that are committed to making PVBG their home do give money as one of the many ways they worship.However, as a visitor we instead ask that you come several times then try to find ways you can worship and serve before committing to financial giving.

On Sunday morning you’ll find people dressed in a range from blue jeans to business casual. You should wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Maybe not your pajamas but nearly anything else. If you worship and listen best in a suit and tie or fancy skirt then that is what you should wear. To make it more simple I would say you are already in your “Church Clothes”.

For Wednesday + Thursday Evening Bible Study we meet at 7:00 pm and conclude by 8:30 pm. This is when the core of our church grows, serves, and fellowships. We meet in people’s homes that live in Paarl + Wellington. It’s a very practical and relationship building time as people talk about living out their life for the purpose of glorifying God. Please contact us for more information as to when and where these Bible Studies are held.

We meet at the Paarl Girls High School’s Building located at the top of Zeederberg Street. Our greeters will be able to help you with all the information you need about our creche, children’s classes, etc.
